Dr. Irfan Bahiuddin is a lecturer at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Indonesia. He earned his Bachelor of Engineering (S.T.) degree from the Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Indonesia, and obtained both his M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees from the Malaysia–Japan International Institute of Technology (MJIIT), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM).
His research interests include machine learning, analytical modeling, characterization methods, optimization techniques, and rheological property evaluation of magnetorheological (MR) materials and devices. He has also conducted research in related areas such as turbocharger system analysis and intelligent control for smart materials.
